Sunday, 6 April 2008

- Arrivals -

Up to 18:00 h	Arrival of candidates and experts at RAMADA Hotel Bad Soden. Arrival of registered guests at HOLIDAY INN Neu-Isenburg.
18:00 h	Welcome in the foyer of the hotel. · Delegates will receive information material and passes to the exhibition · Participants hand over tool boxes.
19:00 h	Briefing meeting with candidates. (With specialist interpreters German/English and German/French) · Drawing lots for the competition boxes.
20:00 h	Arrival of registered guests from the HOLIDAY INN hotel. · Meeting to discuss the competition programme for the next few days.
20:30 h	Champagne reception and dinner for candidates, experts and registered guests at the RAMADA Hotel.
22:30 h	Return of registered guests to the HOLIDAY INN Hotel.

- 1^st day of competition -

06:30 h	Candidates and experts meet for breakfast at the RAMADA Hotel.
07:15 h	Candidates and experts walk from the RAMADA Hotel to the S-Bahn (city railway) station "Bad Soden" and travel together to "Messe" (S-Bahn station for the exhibition).
08:00 h	Start of the competition. · Practical task
09:30 - 16:30 h	Supporting programme for registered guests at the HOLIDAY INN.
11:00 h	Press conference of the AIE for the CYE 2008 at the light+building exhibition.
12:30 h	Lunch break for candidates and experts.
17:00 h	End of 1^st competition day.
17:30 h	"After Work Party" for candidates, experts and registered guests at the exhibition stand of KNX.
18:30 h	Candidates, experts and registered guests travel back together via S-Bahn from S-Bahn station ?Messe? to the RAMADA Hotel.
20:00 h	Dinner for candidates, experts and registered guests at the RAMADA Hotel.
22:30 h	Return of registered guests to the HOLIDAY INN.

- 2^nd day of competition -

06:30 h	Candidates and experts meet for breakfast at the RAMADA Hotel.
07:15 h	Candidates and experts walk from the RAMADA Hotel to the S-Bahn (city railway) station "Bad Soden" and travel together to "Messe" (S-Bahn station for the exhibition).
08:00 h	Continuation of the competition · Theory task (With specialist interpreters German/English and German/French) · Practical task
09.30 - 16.30 h	Supporting programme for registered guests at the HOLIDAY INN.
12:30 h	Lunch break for candidates and experts.
13:00 h	Meeting of CYE taskforce of AIE at light+building. (Interpreter German/English)
17:00 h	End of 2^nd competition day.
17:30 h	Candidates and experts travel back together via S-Bahn from station "Messe" to the RAMADA Hotel.
19:00 h	Candidates and experts walk from the RAMADA Hotel to the S-Bahn (city railway) station "Bad Soden" and travel together to "Frankfurt Römer" (U-Bahn / Underground station at Frankfurt city centre).
19:30 h	Dinner for candidates, experts and registered guests at "Paulaner am Dom" restaurant.
22:00 h	Participants walk from the restaurant to the bus terminal at Paulskirche (St. Paul's Church). Site-seeing tour through Frankfurt at night with a visit to "Luminale".
23:30 h	Candidates and experts return by bus to the RAMADA Hotel. The registered guests will carry on to the HOLIDAY INN.

- 3^rd day of competition / award ceremony -

06:30 h	Candidates and experts meet for breakfast at the RAMADA Hotel.
07:15 h	Candidates and experts walk from the RAMADA Hotel to the S-Bahn station "Bad Soden" and travel together to "Messe" (S-Bahn station for the exhibition).
08:00 h	Continuation of the competition. · Practical task
09:30 - 13:30 h	Supporting programme for registered guests at the HOLIDAY INN.
11:30 h	Completion of the competition with subsequent functional testing of the competition entries.
12:00 h	Lunch break for candidates, experts will start assessment.
13:00 h	Candidates travel back via S-Bahn from station "Messe" to the RAMADA Hotel. The afternoon is at the candidates? disposal.
17:30 h	Candidates and experts walk from the RAMADA Hotel to the S-Bahn station "Bad Soden" and travel together to "Frankfurt Römer" (U-Bahn / Underground station at Frankfurt city centre).
18:00 h	Arrival of registered guests from the HOLIDAY INN hotel at Frankfurter Römer.
18:00 h	Champagne reception for candidates, experts, registered guests and guests of honour in the foyer of the Kaisersaal (Emperor Hall).
19:00 h	Award ceremony of the CYE 2008 in the Kaisersaal of the Frankfurt Römer. (With simultaneous interpreters German/English and German/French) · Presenter: Andreas Radtke.
20:15 h	Photo shoot for winners and candidates, including presentation of sponsored prizes in the foyer of the Kaisersaal.
20:30 h	Festive buffet dinner with live music by the ?Ladies Swing Quartet? in the historic Römerhallen underneath the Kaisersaal.
23:30 h	Return of candidates, experts and registered guests to the RAMADA Hotel / HOLIDAY INN.
